At Pulaski County Schools we believe engaging guardians, students, and staff forms the foundation for success in our school community. In order to engage the school community we must maintain current contact information for students and their guardians. The online registration system will help us do that.

School is expected to open August 24, 2020. During this time of a pandemic, we must make some hard decisions. Some will not be popular and I understand, but we must try to make the best decisions for students given the expectations from state agencies. Our plan follows the expectations of the Kentucky Department of Education and the Kentucky Department of Health. The plan is based around three common principles: social distancing of at least six feet, wearing a mask when you cannot socially distance, and contact tracing if COVID-19 is present. Parents will be able to choose a virtual option or attend school on a 5-day normal schedule. Both options will have conditions that parents must consider when making their decision. All Pulaski County students qualify a $313.50 benefit:
School closures due to the COVID-19 state of emergency led to the loss of free and reduced-price school meals for many Kentucky children. These children now can receive help from a program jointly offered by the Cabinet for Health and Family Services and Kentucky Department of Education.
Households with children not enrolled in these assistance programs must apply for P-EBT benefits at https://benefind.ky.gov/. Applications will be taken from June 1, 2020 through the end of August.
The mission of Pulaski Elementary School is total commitment to high student achievement and character accomplished through a partnership of staff, students, and community.
