Principal's Message

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome the Oak Hill Elementary School community to the 2019-2020 school year.

Our staff is looking forward to an exciting and rewarding school year.

Last year was very successful for Oak Hill Elementary.  Oak Hill became the first area school to receive the National Blue Ribbon Award. Tremendous growth and high levels of academic performance were also achieved by our students on MAP testing.

We are committed to providing your child with the skills necessary for success in the future and to provide the best instructional program possible. Teamwork is the crucial ingredient to successful schools. We have an excellent school because of the active involvement of our team members, students, parents, community, and staff. I look forward to working with each of you as we continue the tradition of excellence established at Oak Hill Elementary.

Local schools fare well in launch of new 5-star accountability system

Overall Pulaski County school officials are pleased with the district's performance during the 2018-19 school year. 

"We again had another extremely successful year in student achievement," Pulaski County Schools Superintendent Patrick Richardson said, "even with a lot of changes and unknowns. Our teachers and staff work hard every day making sure our students and schools are the best they can be."

Feud For Food Starts October 1
  • The NORTH and SOUTH schools’ competition for the coveted Compassion Cup begins Monday, October 21st. and will end on Friday, November 1st .
Five Kentucky public schools named 2019 Blue Ribbon winners

KDE Media Advisory (Frankfort, KY):  The U.S. Department of Education (USED) named give Kentucky public schools as 2019 National Blue Ribbon Schools, based on their overall academic excellence.   The five Kentucky schools and their districts are:  Barret Traditional Middle School - Jefferson County, East Valley Elementary School - Morgan County, Murray Elementary School - Murray Independent, Perryville Elementary School - Boyle County, and Shopville Elementary School - Pulaski County
