Schools Can Now Serve Meals to More Students

Dear Pulaski County Families,

The Pulaski County School District has just been approved to serve meals to a wider group of children.  The USDA and Kentucky Department of Education now allow us to operate under the Summer Feeding Program guidelines.  If your child already receives meals each week, there's no need to sign up again.  If, however, your child meets the expanded eligibility guidelines, please complete the School Meal Request Form at www.pulaski.net/foodservice.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
-- Free meals for ALL children, 18 years old and younger.
-- Free meals for students with disabilities, enrolled in school, to age 21.

GENERAL INFORMATION
-- Curbside/drive through pickup service at all fourteen Pulaski County schools.
-- Five breakfast and five lunch meals may be picked up once per week.
-- Meal pickup time is from 9:00 AM until 1:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
-- Cafeterias at each school have been serving meals to students enrolled in the Pulaski County School District since August 24, 2020, under the National School Lunch Program (NSLP).  We are now operating under the Summer Feeding Program guidelines.

Thank you for the honor of serving your child during this unusual time.  The Pulaski County Schools food service department is committed to offering the highest quality service to your children as we engage in learning at home. For more information call 606-679-1123, and ask for Mercedes Rutheford, Mary Worley, or Carylon Burdine.
