Family Matters Resource Center
Coordinator: Julena Privett
Outreach Worker:
The Family Matters Resource Center has been created as part of the Kentucky Education Reform Act. Our mission is to empower families to support and assist their children by strengthening positive areas and reducing barriers to a child's achievement in school. This is a community-based effort in that family aid will be provided through community services at the center or by linking families to agencies in the community. Our goal is to ensure that all children at Pulaski Elementary School receive an equal opportunity to learn. The center will strive to meet the needs of any disadvantaged child or family within the school, regardless of their social, ethnic, and/or socioeconomic status in the community.
The center receives a state grant from the Department of Education. All children enrolled in the school and their families can use the services regardless of family income.
