Guidance Procedures

We strive to keep a happy, responsible, cooperative environment for your child.  Our staff will help your child to achieve through guidance and redirection techniques.  Encouraging acceptable behavior and approval amongst the children seems to be quite successful.  We feel that children, parents, and staff are more approving of positive techniques designed to help children develop self-respect and self-control, healthy relationships, skills in decision-making and problem solving.

A series of disciplinary steps may be used in some cases of defiance.  We will begin with time away from the situation.  If the behavior continues frequently, depending on the severity, he/she will be suspended.

We are not authorized and will not, under any circumstances administer Corporal Punishment.
