Christmas Parade 2000
As part of our district's efforts to keep our guiding principles at the forefront, each school created a float to showcase one of the character words. These floats were on display Saturday, December 9th during the annual Somerset Christmas Parade. Pulaski Elementary's character word was compassion and our float was entitled "Compassionate Caribbean Christmas." It was a real crowd pleaser, from the native hut to the Christmas palm tree to the sandy "beach". The judges liked it, too. It won first place in the kindergarten through eighth grade division.
